Inspect and load an export container of frozen manufacturing beef
You are a loadout operator in the packing and loadout team.
What has happened
Order EX-26-2210 for Pacific Rim Provisions in the United States is 980 cartons of frozen 90 chemical lean manufacturing beef. The container arrives at dock 2 at 1 pm and the Packing and Loadout Manager has asked you to run the container inspection, supervise the pick against the loadout order and make sure every pallet has a probe temperature reading before it goes in. Product must stay at or below minus 18 degrees Celsius. The consignment data must be transferred to the export documentation system and the seal number recorded before the order is marked as loaded. Two containers were rejected at inspection last quarter, so the manager wants the inspection recorded properly whatever the outcome.

Evidence guide
The container inspection must cover cleanliness, odour, pests, damage, door seals and pre-cooling and the decision must follow from the findings. Pallet temperatures above minus 18 degrees must be rejected. The order must not be marked loaded without a seal number and a reconciled count. Look for correct sequencing: inspection, pick, temperature check, load, seal, record.
